Installing a gas meter is a crucial step in home gasification. Choosing the correct location ensures accurate gas measurement, safety, and easy maintenance. Let’s review the key requirements and recommendations.

A gasified room
-

4. Minimum Distance from Other Objects
-
From doors and windows: at least 0.5 m
-
From gas appliances (stoves, boilers): at least 0.8 m
5. Positioning Relative to Heat and Moisture Sources
The meter must be placed away from heat and moisture sources to prevent damage and inaccurate readings.
6. Installing the Meter Inside Furniture
It is allowed to install the meter inside a cabinet if:
-
It does not touch the cabinet walls
-
There is enough ventilation space
-
The meter remains accessible for readings
7. Installing the Meter Outside the House
Meters can be installed outdoors in cabinets, under canopies, or in other protective enclosures.
